He just loves his brother. He regrets not doing more for him and for pushing him away. He doesn't really know how to make up, but he stalks his brother on Youtube, attends performances when he can, and will collect all of his brother's merch.[break][break]
He's lived a sheltered life and much of his life was planned out by his parents. Because of this, he's easily influenced and bad at making his own decisions. He's also slightly naive about dealing with people; he often isn't careful enough.

The only reason Agate would ever use a Bible is self-defense - and he carried one around.[break][break]
Growing up with a devout Christian family, his weekends consisted of Sunday school and mass. Ever since he was a child, he found church boring. However, his obedient personality kept him from protesting. Of his peer groups, he had continued going to church the longest. By middle school, he'd seen his brother fighting against his parents, and with Jasper as an example, Agate started to refuse.[break][break]
This was perhaps the most upsetting time of his life. Standing up to his parents on something that they valued so much was stressful for both sides. There were times when Agate wouldn't talk to his parents for days, and also times he would go crying to them. It didn't help that around this time, Agate started to grow distant from his older brother. The end result though, was that he promised to carry a Bible around, and read from it at least once a week, and he wouldn't need to attend church.[break][break]
Agate picked up photography in high school; his camera was a present from his parents. During high school, Agate and his brother grew even further apart because Jasper moved out after he graduated. Since Agate is 6 years younger, his brother was gone when Agate started high school. The only time he saw Jasper was through photos online. Because of this, Agate started taking pictures. It made him feel closer to his brother. His hope is that eventually he might be able to take pictures for his brother + friends performances. As of right now, he does semi-professional photography - he gets paid occasionally to take pictures for birthday parties and weddings. This is outside of his tutoring and studying though. As a side note, Agate totally has a collection of his brother's pictures.[break][break]

This included all his textbooks, many classic novels, and a wide range of nonfiction deemed appropriate for him. Lucky for Agate, he was a fast reader and very quick at memorization. He ended up learning from and enjoying many of the books his parents gave him to read. [break][break]
For him, his Calculus textbook is especially important because this textbook was the first math book he felt he learned and understood thoroughly. This book was the catalyst that caused him to pursue a career as a math professor. For now though, he's still working on a PhD, but also finds time to tutor high school and college students. [break][break]
The only reason he uses his Youtube account is to follow Jasper; the only account he subscribes to is Jasper.[break][break]
