[attr="class","rcwanttleft"] [attr="class","rcwanttleft1"] [attr="class","rcwanttleft2"] TL;DR a very open (and kind of messy) ad for a Revolutionist who set up the bomb that messed Faith up. They meet and get too attached to each other for anybody's good. New or existing character.[break][break] Last June a homemade nail bomb went off in a middle of a busy intersection. Luckily thanks to a car accident that happened in the very same place barely an hour earlier the area was mostly empty and only one person was seriously hurt in the explosion. There were no fatalities, and for weeks the news outlets of Seattle couldn't make up their mind if the incident should be seen as a success in containing the damage caused by the bomb, or if it was a failure of the police officers who failed to notice a suspicious bag. In the end the accident was overshadowed by a fresh set of murders and people stopped talking about it.[break][break] But two people remembered.[break][break] One of them was Faith - a police crime lab analyst who just happened to be helping on site. The other was the bomber themselves - the person who this ad is for.[break][break] When it comes to who the bomber was, why they set up the bomb, their personality and backstory - everything is open. It can be an existing character, it can be a new one. Any gender and face claim is possible, too. The only thing which is set is their member group - they are a Revolutionist. Whether they were one last June is open, but they sure are one now.[break][break] What's the plot? It's a cat and mouse story with a twist. Faith is looking for them to (at the very least) lock them up for what they did to her. The bomber is interested in her because she has managed to survive and became an unplanned loose end connected to a big failure. She hunts them, they evade her, they end up meeting and things get complicated. It's a classic Because of how open this character is I'm keeping the ad vague, too, but there are three ways I think this plot could develop in an interesting way: 1) Faith and the bomber join forces for some reason and begrudgingly befriend each other along the way, 2) they end up getting more romantic than they planned and complicate literally everything, or 3) they knew each other all along and all of this is incredibly awkward, especially after Faith finds out that her friend is the bomber she was looking for. Or any mix of those three, really! Or something else! I just really want the bomber to exist in Faith's life, and for the two of them to grow close despite a literal mountain of reasons why they shouldn't. Maybe they smooch, maybe they throw fists, maybe they went to the same kindergarten, but at the end of the day they go to a bar, crack open a cold one, and regret their life choices.
