[break][break] - he likes to feed the neighbourhood cats that tend to hang around his apartment. he'll usually feed them every few days, and check to see if they're relatively healthy and uninjured before going back home. [break][break] - pronouns change regularly, but usually he will go along with whatever pronouns someone will give him upon meeting him. he/him/his are the most common pronouns he tends to use. [break][break] - his main job is that of a server at a rundown diner. the place is old, the people that go there don't always look like the nicest folks and it's probably not the best job he could have, but at least it's not illegal. [break][break] - he hacks in his spare time. he isn't amazing, but he's good enough. he only hacks when he needs to or when he's scrounging for money, hastily hacking into accounts that can stand to lose a few dollars. he doesn't specifically target anyone when he gets into hacking, simply going for the individual or group that will give him the biggest pay out. he isn't opposed to taking jobs or requests either, as long as someone gives him the right price. [break][break] - he's capable of being playful, but only sometimes. his mischievous side can either come out when he's presented with the perfect opportunity, or when he knows someone really well. [break][break] - he is bilingual, his first language being japanese while his second is obviously english.[break][break] - his unusual hairstyle is all due to the fact that he is lazy. he bleached it a while ago, and has since left it to do whatever it wants. [break][break] - corin is relatively short with soft features and cat-like eyes. his eyes are whiskey brown that can appear the amber in the right light. So much red. It speckled his face, bloomed like a beautiful rose from his mother's chest and formed deep crimson pools on the concrete. [break] "okasan?" REMOVE THE PAIN, BRUSH OVER THOSE DETAILS- corin akiyama moved to seattle from japan with his mother, hitomi akiyama, when he was only nine years old. [break] - the family of two had only been living in the city for less than a year before a lone gunman came and whittled that two, down to a lonely one. he never found out who exactly did it.[break] - forced into foster care, corin had to learn to adapt fast to the language and the constantly changing temporary homes that housed him. he never bothered to even tried to get used to the faces that would allow him into their houses. the longest he'd ever stayed in one place was five months.[break] - the foster care system wasn't kind to him, but then again, was it ever kind to anyone? the things he experienced while jumping from family to family, house to house, were varied. both good and bad. he likes to forget the bad things. [break] - once eighteen, he got the hell out of the system. (more like they kicked him out.) he got his own apartment, which he still happens to live in. the rent is terrible and the apartment is too, but it's his home and that's all that matters. eighteen was also the age he started to try out hacking. [break] - after struggling to find a decent job for a year and either being fired or being forced to quit due to pay checks that couldn't pay the bills, he resorted to hacking into bank accounts for money. this went on for several months until he was able to find a fairly decent paying job at an old diner.[break] - now, he likes to stay out of sight and off the radar of both the revolutionists and law enforcement with the exception of when he needs to steal from them, of course.
