"You couldn't have helped it," they'd said, "she was just... in the wrong place at the wrong time." SO, HONEY, DON'T PLAY- Throughout his childhood and teens, Elliott had lived a fairly smooth life. At the age of 22, he'd proposed to his girlfriend of 9 years, who he'd been close friends with well since kindergarten.
- After she'd died in a car accident, life wasn't so simple anymore. He'd first joined the force when he was 20, and continuing to fight for the same cause steadily grew harder to do with his weakened sense of purpose.
- In the midst of his grief and confusion, a man, somebody he'd once thought of as a friend, took him under his wing. Initially, his company was thought to be a relief. It quickly became clear that his intentions were not all that pure of heart, and soon enough Elliott was struggling for air in a relationship he'd blindly fallen into.
- When push came to shove, he couldn't take it anymore and acted drastically. The man had soon ended up dying of... natural causes. Or so the story went.
- Overwhelmed and hopeless, Elliott's only source of escape when in his job, but even there he couldn't find solace. Slowly running himself into the ground, his demeanor gradually changed, sharpening and twisting itself into something far from who he'd once been.
- His salvation came in the form revolution. Sweet, bleeding revolution. Having stumbled across one of the propaganda speeches, he heard the speaker out, slowly feeling a spark come to life within himself that he hadn't felt in years. Everything he'd heard made so much sense in his convoluted head. It took him a while to get the guts to actually go and inquire about the revolution, and he had to go through quite the process to prove his genuineness, but eventually he landed himself a spot for contribution.
- Joining didn't make him any less of a conniving viper. Rather, it seemed to encourage him. Now, every day, he fights against the very body he's a part of. He strives for the day its head will be cut off.
