Felix is your typical middle aged cop. He doesn't see many things that'll outright surprise him. He's often sarcastic and isn't completely caught up in blind idealism. A lot of Bradley's postive traits come out towards people he feels truly deserve it. As he doesn't see things in black and white but rather see things in gray scale, he'll give everyone a decent chance, cop, criminal, civilian, everyone's treated based on their actions rather than their titles.[break][break]
FRIENDSHIPS
Friends are easy to come by for Bradley but harder to keep. He finds that most people aren't actually worth the time and are just looking for something. Naturally most people fall under the acquaintance category for Bradley. People he truly consider as friends are those he'll be loyal to no matter what.[break][break]
hateships
Pretty easy to end up in here by complete accident. Most of these may be one sided simply due to the sheer fact that Bradley honestly won't care too much. He's naturally apathetic to those who seem interested in being on his bad side. A few work related rivalries aren't out of the question. He can be cocky when he's ready and he doesn't exactly like being number two in the investigative field.[break][break]
loveships
Felix can be the romantic. He's looking, somewhat. While his preference is for someone who works within the same field as he does, he isn't against going completely out of the ball park and dating someone with a record. That being said, if someone can get past he's normally guarded state, they can find a way into his heart.

[break][break] So I was thinking maybe these two could work together. I understand that is the most generic set-up, but Bradley seems super ambitious whereas I think Joseph views him as—a kid, a lot like he is. XD So I feel like Bradley's gung-ho, stoic approach will surprise him in a way. particularly since a lot of the people in the SPD that he's encountered so far seem to be . . . "quirky" . . .[break][break] They have similar personalities and dispositions, so I imagine that they would get along objectively well—except that Joseph would want to mentor him in experimental investigation and analysis and Bradley would just give a blunt, "Never." Brad seems like the type who rivals, and this state of affairs will simply kill Joseph's whole enthusiastic big brotherly vibe; he's noncompetitive except when his job security is threatened, so he'll probably be confounded as to why Bradley feels so out to prove himself when he seems to be doing fine on the force. As far as he can understand, why work too hard if you are already exceeding expectations? (. . . not that he actually lives by this line of thinking at all, obviously.) [break][break] If nothing else, Joseph would be happy to be a reference for him if he ever needed a promotion or wanted to consider pursuing a job at the FBI later in his career. It seems like they are the sort of work friends where Bradley brings all the action and cool guy stories and Joseph wonders why anyone would want their day-to-day activities to be so dangerous; whenever his work is "exciting", it's often a coincidence. They could maybe hang out together after work, but neither of them seems like the type to actually want to—plus Joseph is the kind of person who is always eagerly going on about whatever he learned (which is almost definitely an obscure topic no one else understands or has often heard of), so he can get a little difficult after a while. / THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH NERD A PERSON CAN HANDLE [break][break] . . . but they both like to read. That's a plus, Joe's great at cheerfully reiterating whatever he found interesting while skimming the library. I dunno, I just want them to have to work at least one case together, it would be fun for them to do a stakeout and have to chase down a perpetrator who either they catch or manages to get away. (Even if it would be thoroughly by accident and Joseph is a totally useless Smart Guy sidekick in these kind of situations, I am sure they would both be wondering what they did to deserve it.)
