Originally from Germany, though now a naturalized citizen of the US, Konrad Oberst (or Conrad if you prefer the English version) does anything but play straight. Ambitious and rather business-minded, Konrad probably has more enemies than friends. (Although he does need friends. Trust me. He does). I'm pretty open to all sorts of plots, so feel free to hit me up by whatever medium you prefer (be it by the plot thread, pm or skype). [break][break]
FRIENDS
He's amiable and hospitable enough to his clients. As for acquaintances, the man's fairly accommodating and doesn't mind breaking the ice with some friendly banter. But dig a little more deeper and you get the actual factual Konrad; a snarky, egoistical douche who's a bit of a man-child. It takes time for him to warm up to you, and basically gets possessive when he does. He's a slightly bitter and closed off about his personal life as well, but with a little push you could probably get him to open up. [break][break]
ENEMIES
He has a few, okay, maybe a lot of bad encounters. His methods aren't the cleanest with forgery, bribe and blackmail all making it on the list. Perhaps a few victims of the aforementioned? He personally stays away from anyone who he can't find a weakness to exploit, and probably doesn't get along very well a few folk at the police force. As for revolutionists, he doesn't give a damn on what they're up to (that is, as long as they don't bother him). [break][break]
ROMANCES
He may mess around and flirt with a few dudes just to make them uncomfortable, but otherwise he's only into women. He may have an ex or two who hate his guts. Right now though, I've kept this section pretty open and I'm up for any sort of idea you've got. [break][break]

WANTED, A few if you'd like to fill the roles. I have no specific build, history or fc in mind so a pre-existing character does just fine. The roles can overlap as well. [break][break]
A detective or someone on the police force he gets along with. Maybe friends with benefits and someone he can get information out of concerning cases. They aren't particularly close, but mutually benefit out of each other.

Konrad hasn't ever had a actual parental-figure in his life with his father basically just turning out to be a douche. Someone who nags or advises him from time to time. Maybe a secretary? , or just a close friend . He may rebuke them and their opinion, but is a bit too attached to them and comes crawling back with a reluctant apology at the end of an argument or two. This someone would be one of the few he lowers his pride to.

Friends! There's a possibility for the two of them really. Both of them are lawyers, but Lena specialises more thoroughly in persecution, all the villains in jail and special cheers for finally fulfilling a case and sending all those baddies to jail haha. I feel like they would be close to the point where they'd share some cases with one another, if anything more developed the two would definitely reach a point of becoming friends. While it is dependent on how their interactions goes of course!

Lena is a pretty open person and is an open book too, so it's easy to understand most (if not all) of her motives. What makes me giggle a bit is how you stated "a snarky, egoistical douche who's a bit of a man-child." As a person who grew in Singapore and then moved on over to Washington, she has met a couple of people who are egoistical, the man-child would literally make her feel more bewildered and interested in Konrad a bit more. Just a playful intent between the two.

Hoho, I dig this. I agree that they would be friends seeing how they're both lawyers and sharing cases wouldn't be too far from happening once they get closer. Lena's genuine passion for her profession would sort of have Konrad feel guilty from time to time for those underhanded methods he makes use of. Of course he'd try and keep that side of him hidden from her for all long as possible (I'm assuming she wouldn't take it well). Also, since Lena line of work leans more towards being a prosecutor, they may meet each other in court from time to time and develop a friendly rivalry.[break][break]
And yeah, the manchild bit. Gawd, he would probably show that side to her whenever he losses a case or when another attempt at dating goes south. Drinking buddies would naturally come into the picture as well. I'd definitely like to thread this one out.
