By day, Douglas is a mild-mannered veterinarian. He cares for his employees, lives a vegetarian life style, and would never dream of putting himself before anyone else. Douglas is the every man. He is clean, and inoffensive.

At night, however, he sheds his sheep's skin, and becomes the wolf. Douglas prowls the streets in search of young men to abduct, torture, an murder with feverish glee. Human life is insignificant to him. He is the boogeyman hiding under your bed.[break][break]

FRIENDS

Douglas makes a point of maintaining a great number of friendships, and close acquaintances both out of a need to look nromal, and because of the great networking opportunities. For the most part, his "friends" are kept at arms length. Douglas makes sure they feel loved and wanted, but never divulges more than what is necessary to maintain the illusion of friendship.

There are a very select few out there who are kept a little closer, though. People he can count on to take his side even if he shows up on their door step covered in blood. These are the people he puts the most effort into.

Ultimately, any relationships he has are only meant to be the means to an end; to strengthen the validity of his persona and make sure he has support should he become a suspect.

LOVERS

Over the years, Douglas has dated various women. To him, they've always been arm pieces. He's cared about them, and enjoyed their company, but they've never been anyone he's completely and utterly fallen for.

Most of the problem is that he's repressing a great deal of his romantic and sexual feelings as he's so far into the closet he's gone straight past Narnia. In his mind, it's not "strong" or "manly" to be intimate with another man, and so he suppresses any sort of hint that he might have any desires of that nature.

This has manifested in his day to day life both in the form of subtle homophobia and the gender of his victims. While he would not outright express any homophobic beliefs (Dr. Harper is too caring, you see), he does toe the line at times with the things he says and does.

Furthermore, all of his victims, without fail, are men. He rationalizes this as it's far more rewarding to dominate a male in terms of physical prowess, but there's definitely a sexual aspect to it that he refuses to acknowledge.

Ultimately, I'd love for him to end up in a homosexual relationship to squash all of this nonsense.

ENEMIES

As far as his daily life goes, Douglas has made sure to avoid making enemies. It's a liability should anything hit the fan. However, it's very likely there's many grieving families missing sons that wish nothing more for his head on a golden platter, even if they've never seen his face before.
