VIRGIL VALENTINE MALE - REVOLUTIONIST - CLEANER - PANSEXUAL - APP | Patience is a conquering virtue, however, it begs the question of whether or not that would apply to someone like Virgil. Not that he's too open-minded about the prospect of forming friendship considering he values his privacy more than anything else, but he just so happens to possess one unfortunate trait that's held him back from maintaining any long-term connections:
He's frickin' annoying!
Loud-mouthed, boisterous, and ever-so repugnant in his approach, Virgil's whimsical presence is one that would break the strongest of wills. Whether it be showcasing his foul sense of humor or obnoxiously singing a ditty from The Sound of Music to the delight of nobody but himself, there's little to desire when caught in his dreadful aura. He's also very secretive of his personal life to the brink of obsession, so it's likely he'll keep his distance if he sees there's an attempt made to get close with him.
But despite his off-putting nature, Virgil generally means well, and often tries to be as gracious as he can to anyone he believes has earned that courtesy. Nevertheless, he's completely blind to the irritating effect he has on people, and forming a bond with him is best suited for those with a great deal of patience or a strong sense of humor.
Plus, he always has an extra ticket on-hand for upcoming plays! Who could pass that up?!

| Other than the not so appealing quirks listed above, there's more to Virgil than just his aptitude for repelling potential friendships. Earning a spot on people's shit lists is the equivalent to taking a breath of air for someone like him, and he thrives off it! If you're not too subtle with your utter disdain for him, he's the type of scoundrel who'll make it his life's mission to constantly taunt, tease, and drive you up the wall with his antics for his own personal amusement.
It's also worth mentioning how his profession plays a vital role into making enemies - more specifically when it pertains to law enforcement. As a cleaner, it's Virgil's responsibility to get rid of any incriminating evidence or completely alter potential crime scenes altogether, effectively making him a forensics expert's worst nightmare. |
| Having stolen someone else's identity while also taking over their life completely, Virgil is considered to be legally married. Nonetheless, his relationship with Mrs. Valentine is built solely on necessity, and it's strictly monetary lest she ends up reporting him for the disappearance of her real husband. As such, the two barely acknowledge each other, and as far as either of them are concerned, they're stuck in an "open relationship".
Regarding his actual love life, Virgil is the type of individual who'll shamelessly flirt and tease anyone who takes notice. Although he's rarely ever serious with his advances, he jovially garners bemusement at the idea of turning others into a blushing, stammering mess.
However, if someone were to express their feelings towards him? More than likely, he would turn into the tortured, flustering soul he enjoys creating out of pure disbelief as he's fairly inexperienced when it comes to romance. There's a small chance that Virgil would entertain the idea of pursuing a serious relationship, but don't expect him to be someone can sweep you off your feet. |

I think it would be funny if Douglas was stuck in a "friendship" with Virgil out of social necessity. Maybe they met at a play, and Douglas decided to talk to Virgil on a whim only to find out how obnoxious he could be when it was too late to back out lest he risk creating a hole in his mild-mannered and kind persona.

we have not touched the stars, nor are we forgiven
morgan's an enforcer, so he basically tortures people for a living. their jobs have to overlap somewhere, right? he's got a pretty strong sense of humor and a decent amount of patience, so they could probably on good terms, though perhaps tolerate would be a better term on morgan's behalf. he's willing to put up with a great deal more for those free plays, honestly.
also with morgan's synesthesia (chromesthesia, specifically), i just think it'd be funny if virgil has this really bright voice to him and he's just like "pls shut up, your voice is physically paining me". especially if he's got a headache like oohhhh man that's gonna be hell
also since they're in the same event thread, i just wanted to check what sort of relationship these two have (not that i'd be against a thread because i'd love one, it's just time constraints ahhhh school why)! anyway, add/subtract as you wish??

" A headache?! Well, why didn't you say so?! I can clear that right up in a jiffy with a soothing little diddy! Tell me, dear boy, what's your favorite number from Bye Bye Birdie?" Business wise, I'm certain that it's very possible that these two will cross paths eventually within their respective roles in the Revolution. There's no guarantees that there won't be a few "happy accidents" from time-to-time when it comes to torturing someone, so Virgil will graciously have Morgan's back if he ever needs his assistance. Addressing the idea of a relationship outside of that, I can see it working from two different angles. From the first angle, they're two highly sociable creatures by habit with good senses of humor. Those traits alone can make it exceedingly easy for these to play off each other. Imagine all the tasteless, morbid jokes these two can crack together while they're on the job! I can definitely see potential for a friendship forming once they've gotten use to each other. Now from the second angle, I do agree that it would be humorous if Virgil played the role of the annoying little pest that Morgan has to deal with simply because "he has to". Perhaps Morgan will feel a sense of empathy for his victims the moment he endures one of Virgil's sing-a-longs?  As for anything pre-established for the event, I'm scratching my head on that one. Maybe we can say they're aware of each other due to their shared affiliation with the Revolution, but beyond that they've rarely interacted? That way you and I can use the event to build something off of that to use for a future thread once that's wrapped up? Let me know what you think! MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

why not both? ah, the poor people who have the misfortune of hanging around them both. all the terrible jokes! i imagine this is how it originally starts out, morgan assumes he's just another guy with a odd sense of humor and then as it draws on, he slowly regrets every decision he has made (and indeed pity all of virgil's victims)
and the event thing definitely works! acquaintances, then, and we can build from there. sounds good to me <3 sorry for the short reply, my brain kinda got fried by the heat ahaha
