MISCELLANEOUS INFO

a spectrum of symptoms plague justice. loud music is wonderful, but crowds short circuit him. eye contact is hard to maintain, fidgeting is his comfort action, things deemed special catch his attention and become his whole life. body language is all too foreign to him, sometimes tone is as well. nothing is wrong with him, but he is different. he thinks different, acts different, is different. [break][break]
he is on the spectrum, diagnosed very young with autism and has been learning about himself ever since. life is stressful, sometimes he can't function the way other's want him to, but he is comfortable within himself and has found his way to cope and live. headphones and earbuds keep him steady on his feet in a crowd, his glasses help hide his inability to make eye contact, he's found ways around asking for clarification.[break][break]
a set pattern, too, has helped keep him steady. at times they make him a bit neurotic - 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1. it repeats in his head, causing him to subconsciously go along with it's rhythm in what he does. sometimes it's in words of that pattern, sometimes numbers, sometimes in actions. step, step, step - step backwards three times after. it is an odd little habit, one he hardly has concern over, but at times it is overbearing. you cannot drive to this rhythm, you cannot finish tests to this rhythm, you cannot do life to this rhythm. a potentially fatal flaw in his symptoms.

[attr="class","omapponebio1"]
there will always be a struggle to morality, in one way or another. something good in this world has an equal bad to it at times - a fish in a store being kept in a cup will suffer. you can bring it home, care for it, love it, make it's life wonderful... but in it's place is a new fish, in a new cup, suffering. some situations have this struggle in morality - the only cure for it is ignorance. justin never was a fan of ignorance.[break][break]
as a young child, justin wanted to learn about the world. it's flaws, it's virtues, what it gives and what it takes. he loved to learn - maybe not in a school filled with peers, but at his own pace wherever he could. he was an observant child, taking in the dos and don'ts, thrilled by the protective nature of his family. he learned to 'love thy family', but only when they were deserving of it. he learned that some people are evil, even when their cause sounded just. he learned that there is no true black and white to this world, just a scale of grey that had a habit of lying to others.[break][break]
justin loved to learn. he did well in it. when he reached age 12, his mother was pregnant, and his family moved to seattle. a big change, but not really - a city to a city is manageable to most. justin, however, struggled with the change. it was too big, too much, and he wasn't happy at all. but slowly, he adjusted. seattle is his home now, maybe even more so than houston was. life was never perfect, but he's managed to be happier.[break][break]
his mother gave birth after the move. twins - a boy and a girl. those two became justin's whole world, he was fully prepared to be an older brother. he wanted to do them justice. he wanted to do them justice to the point that 'justice' seemed like a pretty good name. his new nickname was coined, and spread fast! his friends at school took a liking to it, his parent's found it endearing, and the second his siblings could speak, they were sure to call him it as well.[break][break]
being a kid in a generation where the online world is growing rampant and everywhere, justice was quick to be sucked into the phase. many topics online fueled his interest - from information of sciences, to the paranormal, to topics of shows and animations and movies. sooner or later, justice had found a huge interest in the paranormal, of cryptids and mysteries, ghouls both in this world and out of it. he was no skeptic, he easily believed it was possible for these to exist in the now.[break][break]
he began a blog for it, traveled around seattle to explore his findings, and made himself a member of the mind's eye. he wasn't hugely popular by all means, but he made sure to keep the online world updated with all he found. or, most of what he had found. in justice's research, he'd come across things he shouldn't have. both metaphysical and concrete. the corruption of man is far more terrifying than ghosts and beings made of ambivalence.[break][break]
some organizations paint themselves for good, but always hide lies within them. the organization never painted it's name on a wall, nothing more than a hush-hush society, but justice knew the things he saw, the violence he witnessed, had to come from somewhere. the law has always been corrupt, he's learned. people who fight the law sometimes go too far. there was a middle ground people needed to reach, but he doubted anyone ever could. justice kept some secrets to himself, painting his findings as something caused by an otherworldly being, but the true professionals could tell when he was lying. [break][break]
he's now a senior in high school. his brother and sister have begun school, and the world is slowly becoming more and more chaotic. word has it on the grapevine - a grapevine justice has no business listening to, mind you - that a little coffee shop might be the center of it all. what's a teen to do but get close, snoop too much, and figure out his plans for keeping everyone he loves safe?[break][break]
you don't know what you're getting into, kid.
