Nathaniel is known among some as The Zealot, a title you'd think he hated. No, in fact, he quite likes it, boasts it in fact. He cares about little else other than Ilmartir and pleasing her, so she doesn't destroy everything too soon. When she does, though, Nathaniel will sing and dance, be giddy with joy, open his arms to the sky and plead for her to take him with her. He fully believes he is favored by Ilmartir for his efforts, for the blood he's spilled within the cult. He is, however, not a stupid man, and as such there's never been damning evidence against him, at least not enough so to warrant his arrest.[break][break]
Even if there was, the cult may pay out for it to all go away.[break][break]

He laughs in the face of those who threaten his life, mocks them. There's nothing they can do to him that he isn't willing to endure in the name of Ilmartir.
