The heart talks in the grand deeds of great men and the smallest of gestures
[attr="class","CIVILIAN"] LETS STAY LOST ON OUR WAY HOMENOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW MY NAME, SO DON'T LEAVE ME AND SLEEP ALL ALONEThe night had been a quiet one, the only things he’d had to deal with was chasing down a bag snatcher and breaking up the fight between two drunks. The latter of which he hadn’t even been in his gear to take care of! Other than that, the night had been uneventful. Which was good! It meant there wasn’t anyone that needed saving, but it also meant that Kael was left little restless, excess energy buzzing in his veins. Maybe he’d exorcise a bit before he went to sleep? Well, regardless of the lack of activity, it only seemed to get quieter as the night dragged on.
Kael had long since tucked his mask into his small backpack, but he was still dressed in his gear, so he wisely avoiding the street lights of the main roads, and instead choosing to stick to the darkness of the alleyways. If someone saw him dressed the way he was, they wouldn’t be able to prove anything. But it was best that he exercised at least a little caution as he walked home. There were still criminals walking around, after all.
Though, despite that thought process, it was apparent that he hadn’t been careful enough as someone grabbed him, immediately stopping him in his tracks. He hadn’t even heard anything! While he tensed, Feng didn’t resist or attempt to escape the hand wrapped around his arm. “Oh?” He inquired curiously, voice pleasant despite the surprise hold on him. Internally, his thoughts were much more frantic, God, I hope Boomburst doesn’t kill me if I survive this. Well, on the bright side, the night had finally gotten a little more exciting.

no one wants to see the way society keeps spreading the disease.
Be skeptical of their smiles of plated gold | Deceit so natural, But a wolf in sheep's clothing is more than a warning | 0000 words commentary I'm starting to think he is a bit pushy and I'm fairly certain that isn't healthy. Oops. FENG LIJANG | During the day, the streets were busy and filled with quick moving feet and people filled with nothing but urgency; it was always a thrilling day in Seattle. Busy days made it much easier to watch, learn and gather intel. Nobody suspected people who were just observing; if nobody bothered them, then what was the issue, right? It was how stalkers could get away with things for so long, how burglars knew when places were at their most vulnerable. It was probably how people apart of the revolution could do what they do.
Seattle was just full of a bunch of idiots.
Now, as much as the daytime was purely thrilling for the watch, the night was time for the hunt. As much as it was creepy, in the darkness a predator could easier go after the prey; in this case, Aristotle could follow the subject of his path for the night. He’d gotten an anonymous tip about a group of people who seemed to be taking criminal acts into their own hands. A bunch of ‘kids’ seemed to be going around trying to right the acts of evil.
It seemed like a silly thing for the spy to even bother with. Truth be told he did have better things to do with his time, however his morbid curiosity did get the better of him most days. Plus, it was becoming suspicious about what exactly this group wanted; they could cause an uproar in the city and risk a certain rebellion to get exposed in ways that were not ideal.
Liquid eyes tracked the male not too far in front of him, tongue brushing over his lips as he followed him through the alleyway they were currently moving through. As to how the man hadn’t noticed he had been followed for as long as he had, he wasn’t sure.
Seattle. Was. Just. Idiots.
Deciding enough was enough, Ari swiftly and silently surged forward like a snake, he was slick enough to grab the arm of his target. With a quirk upwards of his lips at the ‘Oh’ that seemed to be the only hint of reaction from him, he twisted the arm just enough to probably cause a slight discomfort as he pushed him carely up against the brick wall nearest to them. “Hello there, pretty fox.” Eyes shone with a bit of mischief as he cocked his head to the side. “I have some questions for you.”

[attr="class","CIVILIAN"] LETS STAY LOST ON OUR WAY HOMENOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW MY NAME, SO DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE TONIGHT The tight grip on his arm didn’t hurt exactly. The amount of pressure just made it very clear that it could very easily start to, if his stalker felt like it. So, Kael allowed himself to be pushed to the wall. This definitely wasn’t how he’d been expecting his night to go. Though, he probably should’ve been more careful. The sluggish pace the hours had passed by had made him complacent. Wait, had his stalker really just called him ‘pretty fox’? Oh. Oh. The vigilante visibly perked up slightly at the words. Hmm. Okay. This was fine. He could deal with this.
“Well, hello. Nice night for a walk isn’t it?” The words passed his lips easily as he quickly tried to adjust to the situation. Feng didn’t have his fox mask on, the item tucked safely away. Which meant the stranger probably knew who he was. Or, at least, knew what he did. He idly wondered, would he be recognised? That’d be pretty bad, but considering his stalker didn’t seem very eager to hurt him just yet, he may have a chance to go home unscathed. “Please, ask away. Though, I can’t promise I’ll give you the answers you want.”
While Kael tried to best to seem accommodating, whatever information his captor wanted, he wouldn’t be getting. Definitely not tonight. It was just their first date after all, and Kael didn’t want to spill everything now! Sure, they’d practically already held hands, but he had class. Also, he didn’t plan on betraying his friends. “I can promise that I won’t try anything. So, could you maybe let me go? Or at least let me turn around? I kind of want to see your face. Are you as enchanting as your voice sounds?” He inquired innocent curiosity, craning his head over his shoulder in an attempt to catch a proper glimpse of the man behind him.

Be skeptical of their smiles of plated gold | Deceit so natural, But a wolf in sheep's clothing is more than a warning | 0000 words commentary | Aristotle could have made a fine enforcer under the revolution, he could bruise someone very easily if he really wanted to. Yet, he never found enough enjoyment in that kind of thing; the watching, the observing, it held a lot more thrill to it. A game of cat and mouse. Curiosity of his own flickered in his gaze as he watched the male react to his words. What became more curious was how he seemed so unaffected by the sudden assault.
This was different.
“Nice night, indeed, for the prowl.” Not making a single move to release the man, Ari continued to watch the back of his head, lips pressing into a thin line. “Ah. See, I will get my answers. One way or another.” He spoke the words near his ear, a slight twitch upwards happening on his lips. Was it a bit flirtatious? Yep. Was it probably not the best idea to go about it this way? Definitely.
Adding a bit more pressure around his wrist, Aristotle took in a long and deep breath. Okay, so this guy seemed to be very… stupid? Mm. Yeah sounds about it. Who would just flirt right back with some random person who had just pushed him against a wall? He swore to whatever god was up there that if his intel had sent him after a prostitute, he would actually kill someone tonight. He had done his research, he knew who he had captive in his grip was who he wanted to question, but who was to say that he didn’t do a little fun stuff on the side?
Eyes turned to slits as Kael turned his head, a very annoyed sigh passing his lips. “Such a dumb fox. Or maybe this is just your coy act.” Cocking his head to the side, his grip began to slowly loosen. Two could play at this game. It would take some work, but he was sure he would get some sort of answer out of this man. “I can humor you, pretty boy. Try to run, however. That will be a bad idea.”
Having now completely taken his hand away from Kael’s wrist, he folded his arms loosely over his abdomen. He waited for the male to turn himself around; he might be playing nice with this male, but he wasn’t going to do everything for him. That just wouldn’t be very gentleman like of him.

[attr="class","CIVILIAN"] LETS STAY LOST ON OUR WAY HOMENOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW MY NAME, SO DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE TONIGHT He’d get his answers one way or another? That sounded a lot like torture. Kael murmured under his breath, “Well, that sounds promising.” The words weren’t really meant for his small audience of one, wry as they were. But they weren’t quiet enough to be a whisper. Torture wasn’t… it definitely wasn’t what he’d been planning to deal with. Yet, still, he didn’t feel too scared. Not yet, at least. There was still a possibility he could talk or maybe even flirt his way out of this mess. Though, admittedly, he wasn’t counting on it.
Feng visibly wilted a little at the words ‘dumb fox’. So, he wasn’t pretty anymore? And how was he dumb? He was simply being accommodating, of course. It wasn’t like he could do much about his situation currently. He’d been caught off guard, without anything to really defend himself. Sure, he could try to fight the stranger with just using his fists, but that would’ve been a bad decision. Kael wasn’t sure if he had any weapons on him, it’d been too much of a risk to try and find out. So, he remained docile. Might as well try to make the best out of a bad situation. So, he continued to flirt. “Me? Act coy? Never.”
Ahh, so he was back to being pretty again. This guy was pretty indecisive, wasn’t he? “Yes, yes. I’m not that stupid, I won’t run.” He attempted to reassure, shaking his head as he finally felt the grip on his arm loosen.
He let out a relieved sigh when he was finally let go. Once released, Kael first shook out his arm, idly hoping that his wrist wouldn’t bruise before finally turning around to look at his captor. Immediately, Kael’s eyes lit up at the sight of the man’s face, a bright smile slipping onto his face. “Oh, I was right! You are very attractive. For a stalker you’re absolutely gorgeous. I can’t say your line of work suits you though.” He said with cheeky wink.
“Anyway,” He sobered slightly, though a faint, pleasant smile remained on his face as he spoke. “You have questions for me?”

no one wants to see the way society keeps spreading the disease.
Be skeptical of their smiles of plated gold | Deceit so natural, But a wolf in sheep's clothing is more than a warning | 0000 words commentary I would apologize for him, but at this point I think it is too late to apologize. Have fun with him Kael. FENG LIJANG | To be honest, Ari wasn’t all too sure as to what he’d been expecting to see when Kael turned around. It hadn’t been like he was completely sure what he looked like; he’d only seen him from a distance for the most part when he’d been watching him to figure out where he would be on this night. The person who’d tipped him off about this group didn’t show him a very clear photo; just a boy in a fox mask. So, when the male turned around, he couldn’t help but to appreciate the face that was peering at almost eye level to him.
So, it seemed to be safe to say that this man was at least a little bit attractive. A lot, probably. His features seemed to be soft and full of youth, his height seemed to only be an inch more than his own, maybe slightly more so. He definitely fit the description of a fox. Kael had the body shape of a model; it looked embarrassingly perfect in what he was wearing.
Not that Ari was focusing on that.
Bringing himself back to focusing on the matter at hand, a crooked smile curled its way onto his lips. “Very good to know that you are smart.” Cocking his head to the side, a few strands of hair falling just in front of his face, Ari let out a small hum. “I am aware of how well i look, but I think it helps in my line of work.” An unsettling smile graced his features for a moment before it all but disappeared, back into a semi-sweet smile. “Oh I do have many questions. First of all, what do you think you’re doing on the streets of Seattle?” Stepping just a hair closer to him, hazel eyes narrowed just slightly. “Playing pretend hero?”
