AN INTRODUCTION
i decided to borrow this from orange because it's great organization and frankly it's too good of an idea for me to pass up (plus, i've got too many notes on aggie and nowhere to put them so this is pretty great). not to worry, i have permission! this cool template was coded by orange as well!
here's how it's gonna work. this thread will consist of my many many headcanons that i have for aggie and it's also gonna help me work on character development and such. i'll add everything I have now as separate posts (categories, sections, whatever) and additions to an existing set will be marked with a date and time of when they were added so character development is pretty easy to follow.

AGGIE AND SKETCHBOOKS
aggie is an avid artist and fashionista, despite the strictness of her daily attire. that being said, what she can't wear on a daily basis, she sketches into journals and notebooks and practically every surface she can find. she's a very good artist, so it's only natural that she has a collection of sketchbooks and pencils that she keeps stashed in different places because her artistic talent isn't very appreciated by father william.
all of aggie's sketchbooks are referred to by different names because if william ever finds out about them, he'll throw them away. she's named them all with conservative women's names, similar to her own, so father william is none the wiser.
mary. this sketchbook is stashed behind a loose tile in the church's kitchen, filled with sketches of evening gowns and elegant dresses.
diane. this sketchbook is wedged between the wall and aggie's small, uncomfortable bed. diane is filled with sketches of everyday outfits, complete ensembles of pants and shoes and shirts, all designed by aggie herself.
margaret. this sketchbook remains hidden at evelyn's house, complete with cutesy sundresses and clothes one might wear to church on sunday.
roxanne. roxanne (roxy for short) is one of aggie's more private sketchbooks, which she hides under a bucket on the roof of the church. it's full of anatomy drawings, drawings of the human body, so there are many sketches of people who pass through the church and people aggie thinks are interesting. and, of course, what'd be an anatomy sketchbook without nude drawings? like any good artist, aggie has attended a class in which she, with a group, sketched a male and female model from all angles.
melissa. this sketchbook is more of a hodge-podge of everything. aggie draws in this one accessories, purses, shoes, animals, tattoo designs, faces, cartoons, and just about anything she can't categorize into any of the other four. melissa stays in aggie's backpack, but if the time comes when aggie has another friend or love interest of some sort then melissa will remain at their home.

AGGIE'S BEDROOM
aggie's bedroom is very interesting, compared to the other nuns who reside in the church. it's a bit bigger than the rest, but consists of only a small, very uncomfortable bed, a plastic chair at a wooden desk, a bookshelf, a dresser, and a trunkful of blankets and extra pillows. despite the overall blandness of her bedroom, there are a few personal touches that give the bedroom some personality of its own.
fairy lights are strung around the perimeter of the ceiling and travel posters are tacked up just about anywhere there's wall space. an old CD player sits on the desk, plugged in next to the fairy lights, and next to that is a cd rack full of gospel discs (only, that's what the covers say). the CD cases say things like 'chris tomlin' and 'mat kearney' but inside are the discs from rock n' roll cd's and old classic rock bands.
inside her desk is a vast collection of mat pencils and charcoals and paints that she uses to draw and do things in her aforementioned sketchbooks, one of which she keeps wedged between her bed and the wall.

AGGIE AND THE CHURCH
aggie, as you may or may not have noticed, is very bad at following her vows. she's never wanted to be a nun, but because she was raised in the church it's the only thing she's ever known. she's not a believer in an ethereal god, and she's pretty much an agnostic atheist. because of this, she doesn't see any reason why she should have to follow her vows, and just because it's in her nature to be rebellious, she does just about everything she can to find loopholes and ways to get out of what she has to do.
for example, her habit is something that she has pretty good control over. she jacks with her outfit every day and finds every excuse she can to get out of it, especially on those rare muggy days that seattle tends to get. she'll remove any one piece of her outfit at a time, whether it be her black socks or her rosary or her veil altogether. she's certainly not as conservative as any of the other nuns, which means she isn't afraid to cuss someone out in full holy garb.

AGGIE AND TICS/HABITS
aggie messes with her hair all the time. if it's not stuffed into her veil she'll find her fingers tangled in it while she's drawing or she'll absentmindedly twist the strands around her fingers while she's thinking.
when she's nervous, her hands get skittish. she'll wring her fingers and grab at her wrists or do anything to keep her hands busy because when she's nervous her hands shake like she's on a sugar high.
