For many issues, I would simply direct any questions that have been answered in previous posts towards the specific tag pertaining to that issue. However, I feel that the situation with this league of assassins (hereby referred to as LoA), is far too important to blow off like that. It's a sad fact, but many people do not like to work for their information. They either like it in bite-sized chunks, or all in one place. It's probably already evident that my content is unable to meet the former style, so, in this case, I must do the latter.

Who is LoA?[break][break]
First and foremost, the correct thing to be asking is what is LoA. As of yet, I have been unable to uncover anything pertaining to who members of LoA are. It's my belief that they aren't a government or terrorist organization. It has more of a homegrown feel as far as style goes. If it was one of the aforementioned groups they would have stated their cause, but so far they've worked solely from the shadows.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. As far as we know it at the moment, LoA is an organization targeting politicians, and other such figureheads in the community. Their focus appears to be the Seattle area, but I don't have enough data to conclude that they absolutely aren't the culprits behind other such attacks.

Am I at risk?[break][break]
No. Unless, you are a politician or directly affiliated to someone in such a position then as far as it's understood now there should be no reason to fear retribution from this group. All of the victims I've been able to connect to this groups MO have been politicians, or had power within the community similar to a politician. It should be noted that many of the victims have been proven to be corrupt while others were/are under investigation. Because of this fact, it's highly possible that the group is possibly a gathering of vigilantes rather than, say, a mercenary group with a calling card.

Why should I be scared?[break][break]
One of the main concerns is, of course, the fact that they've yet to make themselves known. From what I've been able to gather I'd say they've been around for half a year at least, and there's a few cases beyond that, that could quite possibly lead to the origin of the group, but I have yet to be able to confirm it. Their true age could be anywhere from a year to two years; as I've said it's yet to be confirmed. As it is, we can only guess that their original intent was noble, but it might not be. There's just no way of knowing.

What's scarier than their ambiguous goals, though, is the simple fact that they're murderers. LoA has shown that they do not value life. They do not value a fair trial. And they do not value a person's rights. You might try to spin it, and say that they're looking out for the little guy, but who can really say? It would be easy for them to rise to power only to kill everyone who happens to disagree with them in order to stay in power. When you command a flock of sheeple who don't question whether the ends justify the means you can do anything.
