On Revo, rather than tradition relationship trackers - or even those built into existing thread trackers - we encourage members to keep track of who knows who and who thinks what of who through a cellphone mockup known as the "contacts list". Unlike typical contacts lists, of course, this will include all walks of people, rather than just those that your character is friendly enough with to swap phone numbers with.[break][break]
Contact lists should be started as their own individual thread per character in this board. While you're very welcome to code your own template, as usual, there are site-provided templates that you may choose from instead. The thread you start can be put into your mini- and user-profiles under the "cellphone" field. From there, fill out your relationships however you desire! SPEED DIAL refers to characters your own is friends with, if not romantically involved with. CONTACTS refer to characters they may be largely unfamiliar with, or are simply neutral on despite repeated interactions. BLOCKED characters are those your character dislikes for on reason or another. If you're unsure of where to put a character, your best guess is always the right choice - there's no necessarily "correct answer", so whatever your gut says works perfectly fine![break][break]
Other accounts are free to post in your cellphone thread if they would like their character added to your contacts. If you are posting in another character's cellphone thread, be sure to fill out your name and relationship blurb, as well as provide an icon. Only post in another's cellphone if you have an established relationship with them already. Cellphone threads aren't an alternative to plotters; if you'd like to pitch a friendship plot, start there.
