What was absolutely peachy?[break][break]

The fact that this was the one night she wasn't working and had decided to go out and grab herself a drink. Although this particular choice in location had more ulterior motives if anything. If you were to ask her about why she was there of all places - the place of which she worked at on any other night - she'd simply claim that it was the closest to her house (a house, like she actually lived in one. It was more of a run down apartment that she was able to pay rent with thanks to some shmuck who thought it wise to pay a young woman to please him in the way a wife should). However for the sake of familiarity, the should-be hostess had retained the slit-eyed contacts. Clear lens, mind you, for her amber gaze was already natural as it was. No one said that she couldn't add a bit of a.. Touch, to her self-proclaimed piercing gaze. [break][break]

When she entered, she immediately paved way to the bar in hopes to spot someone whom she knew. Someone she has learned to take joy in messing around with; someone who she's learned had been able to keep up with her. But, alas, to her distain she finds that he wasn't there. The young woman quirks her lip downwards the slightest bit, expression a sense of distaste and disappointment. It was subtle and barely made an impact on her night, however. It was insignificant. It was just too bad. On the bright side, it means that he can chat up some nice people now. Maybe get some connections. A contact. A number or two--[break][break]

Maybe sleep in a bed. [break][break]

The latter thought prompts a soft snicker from the near feral woman as she rests her chin against the palm of her hand. Her body turns along with her gaze - from the corner of her eyes - with some other patrons who appeared to recognize her. ... Frankly, she would have preferred it if they didn't try to approach her. There was a reason she acted so polite - so dainty - on the job. Some guys like the modest girl, annoying as it was. But as far as she was concerned, that was the image she put up for herself when she first started out. I mean.. Seriously. Most guys couldn't seem to resist doting on the little lady with the body of a woman, but the demeanour of a girl. Someone they could control. Someone they could dominate. [break][break]

It made her sick. [break][break]

But she smiles. She smiles and tries to play it off, shifting her arms to gently place between her legs and lap. For that added effect, she gently begins to twirl her hair between her fingers whilst avoiding the eye contact. This would have been enough of a show for them, would it not? Unfortunately for her, the other employees seemed to notice her presence. They were short a person (aka. someone decided to ditch work, or they were to lazy) and decided to ask her for help (read that as hope to pressure her into doing their work for them). Much as she would have liked to claw them in the face like the fox she was, faces. She had to keep face. It was because of that stupid face that she could only smile nervously while obliging. Just when she thought that tonight could have been her own. [break][break]

She's left behind the bar while grumbling to herself softly, but that's alright. She just had to handle things like she always did. Had to make the drinks, serve them as she did, and spend time flattering the crap out of them like the good girl she was. [break][break]

Just had to make sure she gagged and vomited in disgust when she got home. [break][break]

It wasn't long until she was - quite literally - cat called by a man from the counter. For a split second, the woman's eyes narrowed as she turned to look over at the man casually waving to her without a care. She takes a moment to register his words with a soft hum. Mayhaps he could help her kill some time? He wasn't half bad looking..[break][break]

"U-Uhm.. Me..?" But she still had to keep face. The young woman took a deep and shaky breath, seemingly caught of guard by his call. Her hands rest against her chest as their eyes meet, only son to take a moment to tilt her head and take small steps towards him. "You surprised me~.." Someone kill her now. This was something that happened far too often, and she wasn't about to die on the inside with how stupid she was acting. "I don't think I've seen you before, either. Are you new, here?~"[break][break]

She'd better be paid extra for this.
