(✠) Aeronwen stands at a height of five foot nine while one hundred and eight-two pounds; the weight being a result of good diets, as well as constant activity from her current career, past ties to the military, as well as personal means. Her form is toned and strengthened with a healthy balance between fat and lean muscle, though is slightly scarred due to her prior experiences in the military; lightly, but primarily upon the crook of her left shoulder. Her eyes are naturally blue, and her hair has been dyed since returning from service and growing it back out.[break][break]
(✠) Her voice best represented by Alycia Marie and dance style best represented by Megan Batoon. [break][break]
(✠) With the prior point being mentioned, she does, in fact, dance, and that fact tends to be somewhat of a surprise to a lot of people that first meet her due to her general demeanor. She's also versatile in physical combat styles - with a personal preference for muay thai - and takes immense pride with sharpshooter and accuracy activities in general.[break][break]
(✠) She wears the dogtags of her former partner as a memento and to protect them, as she was there to witness his death on the field. Even if she seems rather blunt and cold, she still remains emotionally connected to him, and such is subtly exhibited by the fact that she still wears them.[break][break]
(✠) She loves to read, and can often be found with a book in her free time. ...Visitors beware, however, as she's not afraid to explore across genres, and actually has a small collection of "mature" novels hidden away in her room that she'll freak out and blush over if anyone ever found them.[break][break]
(✠) She gave up on relationships for the last year or two after trying again and being cheated on.[break][break]
(✠) Despite the tough love she gives her twin brother (Bardawulf Voss), she loves him - as well as the rest of her family - more than anything, and would defend them with her life. That being said, insult them in any way, shape, or form, and you'll probably feel how toxic she can get when the wrong buttons are pushed fairly quickly.[break][break]

(Maybe in another life...)[break][break]
...You ask that every single time we do this, Bard. Let’s just get it over with, alright?[break]
Sooner we do, the sooner we can get back to what we were doing.[break][break]
(Aeronwen and her brother, Bardawulf Voss, have done yearly audio journals at the beginning of each year in order to record any major happenings, as well as to remember and come to terms with past events. They began around the time that they came back from service the first time as a means to help them keep their stability and sense of self strong.)[break][break]
(...I could find you there.)[break][break]
My name is Aeronwen Engel Voss, ranked WO1 as of two years within the past. My mother is O7 Katarina Voss, my father is O6 Astor Voss, and my brother - the interviewer - is WO1 Bardawulf Kuno Voss. I’m a native from Frankfurt, Germany, and moved to the States when I was eight years of age, with my birthdate being October thirty-first. ...Another notable figure within my family that pertains to the military would include my cousin, CW4 Caelius Vincent, who currently serves within the Navy.[break][break]
As of now, I’m twenty-nine years of age, and went through my first service period from ages twenty-one through twenty-three, as per my contract agreement. I had one year of leniency to spend as my own, and at age twenty-four, served the remaining four years of my contract. Within that year, I opted to enlist with the FBI, and have resumed my position since returning to the States at age twenty-eight. This will be my second year since finishing my initial contract, though after some thought, I decided to extend services for an additional two years. The time is currently within the reserves, and I’m to remain here in Seattle until further notice on account of both militaristic direction, as well as bureau direction.[break][break]
(Pulled away before your time.)[break][break]
As I just stated, I was born in Frankfurt, and spent the first eight years within the country prior to coming to the United States with my parents. Aside from Seattle, our first and only living spaces were within New York. ...Life was more or less how you’d expect of an immigrant family. Before coming to the States, our education was our priority, and even if financial situations were different at first following our initial movement, that didn’t change when we settled in America. Our parents worked jobs to provide for us, and it wasn’t too long until they themselves actually enlisted into the military, which is where we got out roots and ambitions from. They raised us to be independent, and they raised us to be proud of our lineage, no matter what history and those around us implied and insisted at the time. Our time with them was...odd, to say the least. As far as time management went, that is; what with how often they were sent back and forth while in service. ...I’d say around age eleven was when they became more consistently invested within the military, as well as when our time with them started to become unpredictable for a number of reasons. Their contracts were ongoing; much longer than ours. Sometimes, they’d be able to come home and catch up with us for three or four years. Others, they’d only have about a year before having to be redeployed. ...Sometimes, they just happened to be stationed back in New York while still in service, so they did their best to manage time.[break][break]
Even then, Papa and Mama both served within the military back in Germany, so their ideals had been...long since solidified and passed onto us. Throughout our time in Germany, we were raised to be honorable. Justified. Our ideals are theirs, and their motivations are ours. ...Hence why we’re here now, the way we are. We lived with CW4 Vincent and his family post-immigration for the most part, but our household beforehand had been the militaristic type in balance. Mama and Papa taught us justice and righteousness, and after we showed interest in following in their footsteps, took the liberty of training us in whatever activities that would prepare us for the future. Personal combat lessons turned into constant sessions with other children throughout the week. Strategy games were plentiful at home, as well of stories of war and the like… They took care to teach us that the battlefield wasn’t just glory - and that there were a lot of dangers and risks to be had - but that never exactly stopped us. The two of them set us up for independence, and neither I nor my brother hold anything against them. ...We may not have had the normal childhood within their absence, but they still showed the utmost care for us throughout the times that we saw them through our youth. We consider ourselves proud to be of their kin.[break][break]
Before leaving, they gave us our ground standards. Again; they taught us the basic morals. They taught us how to take care of ourselves, and how to appropriately train ourselves in their absence in order to stay on track. ...Also taught us the importance of balance, so they insisted for us to keep up with other activities. Hobbies. Ways to vent out stress, or just...things to make us happy so that training wasn’t all that we knew. Both my brother and I kept up with combat training growing up, and made it a habit to exercise on a daily basis. We both also took dance classes, but aside from that, he branched off into an interest in tech, while I more or less took up...literature. ...I consider myself a hobbyist writer? Although, it’s been a long time since I’ve last written anything for creative purposes, and I’d much rather read over write, nowadays.[break][break]
In any case, we managed on our own for the most part, all while getting our basics from Caelius’s family. We promoted time management between academics and extracurriculars - as well as other activities - and went on to graduate from high school a year early at age seventeen before applying straight to West Point Academy.[break][break]
(I can't deal, it's so unfair...)[break][break]
...A number of things. Our time in high school was a little bit shorter, but we still took care to involve ourselves in whatever activities caught our interest. The two of us took part in leadership, although at some point, that more or less became more of a communicative exercise overall as we became involved in more activities, but despite how we weren’t able to attend a fair amount of the physical meetings, we still managed to keep our roles through other ways of communication. As far as sports went, he played on the football team, and I played on the volleyball team. We both attended the dance club after school whenever we could, and aside from that, I also took part in the creative writing club at the school, whereas Bard took part in a computer science club.[break][break]
All the while, we still kept up with our combat and dance classes on the side, so we still had a social life. Needless to say, it was a lot to juggle, and it took a while to efficiently and properly work everything into our schedules…? It worked out in the end, though.[break][break]
At some point, we dropped those classes in favor of focusing on our training at West Point, though. Training was already counted for on the norm, and dance was a hobby, anyways. We could still do that for free and in our own time when we managed to get ahead of the game with studies and the like.[break][break]
(And it feels, and it feels like...)[break][break]
My first two years of service were immediately after completing our four years of schooling at West Point, and after I’d gotten my bachelor’s degree in science - as per the prerequisite of the academy - as well as criminology, and with a minor in psychology. Service was standard, more or less. Personally, the first half of the first year of service was little more than a learning period. We were acquainted with the lifestyle, and we...served. Simple enough. Rather than starting at the standardized E-1 rank, though, the two of us managed to start straightaway at E-4 due to our prior studies and the like. Long story short, we qualified for the head start, so we were placed as such.[break][break]
We saw death, we saw war, and we came back. To say it so lightly would be a vast understatement as to just how changing the experience was, but...for sake of this interview, I’ll leave it at that, since it was just that. The learning period. Becoming formally adjusted to what was to come later on. ...And that was when we started to do these interviews to begin with, but...seeing as though this is just a personal thing between us, I see no reason to expand more on it.[break][break]
(Heaven's so far away...)[break][break]
Simple enough. With enough experience with and in the military beforehand, it’s easy enough to get a job with the FBI, surprisingly enough- and that’s what we did. We applied, waited, and got accepted. That’s more or less the gist of it. Our first bureau location assignment was in Seattle, which is why we’re here right now. From New York to Seattle, we made the move and became acquainted with new coworkers as you’d do with any other job. It’s where we’ve lived ever since coming back from our first period of service.[break][break]
At age twenty-four, I was called back to serve the remainder of my contracted service, so I left the state for deployment again.[break][break]
(And it feels, yeah it feels like...)[break][break]
…[break]
...More or less the same as before.[break][break]
Like before, I...saw death. I saw war. Conflict. The normal matters any soldier would see on the battlefield. There was...one day in particular that I scathed by and lived to see another day, whereas my squadron...didn’t.[break][break]
…[break][break]
...You’re familiar with Sergeant Balke. Or-...[break]
...No. No, I mean...Victor. Victor Balke.[break][break]
...You know that...we and a couple others that knew us were friends. Through the military, and the like, and-...[break][break]
…[break]
...You know what happened, Bard. Just move on with it.[break][break]
(Aeron and Bard met a man by the name of Victor Balke during their schooling years - as he was two years their senior both in education and in age at the time - and actually became close friends with him; enough to the point of exchanging constant words after their first service, and meeting up fairly often as friends. Aeron herself had grown close enough to actually pursue a relationship with him at some point, but by the collective fourth year of her deployment, she had actually been sent out as infantry alongside Victor, and - after being ambushed - had come out alive alongside few of her other squad members. Victor wasn’t among the survivors, and although she doesn’t prefer to discuss it, she herself had watched him die on the field during the instance.)[break][break]
(The world has grown cold.)[break][break]
Sufficient, and the same. I’m more than aware of the sights that I’ve seen in the past, and I accept that they’re a reality of what comes with the job. Every so often, I think back on it, but it’s nothing that hinders me in the slightest as far as professionalism and my career is concerned.[break][break]
(Now that you've gone away.)[break][break]
I got cheated on, so that’s nice.[break]
...I’ve decided I’m in no rush anymore, though. I probably won’t go looking out for a relationship anytime soon, now.[break][break]
Aside from getting back into writing again on a rocky basis, there’s nothing much to report.[break][break]
(I can't bring back what's been taken from me.)[break][break]
...This isn’t part of the normal routine, Bard.[break]
…[break][break]
...No. No, I haven’t moved on. ...And I think we both know that I won’t be completely moving on for a while, now. It’s a work in progress, but...maybe not anytime soon.[break][break]
…[break]
...We’re done.[break][break]
"It's that time of the year again, Aeron. You ready~?"
(Maybe in another life...)[break][break]
...You ask that every single time we do this, Bard. Let’s just get it over with, alright?[break]
Sooner we do, the sooner we can get back to what we were doing.[break][break]

They began around the time that they came back from service the first time as a means to help them keep their stability and sense of self strong.)[break][break]
"Yeesh, still prickly. Fine~. ...State your name and the like, soldier."
(...I could find you there.)[break][break]

Sufficient, and the same. I’m more than aware of the sights that I’ve seen in the past, and I accept that they’re a reality of what comes with the job. Every so often, I think back on it, but it’s nothing that hinders me in the slightest as far as professionalism and my career is concerned.[break][break]
"New events within the prior year."
"...Have you moved on, yet?"
