[attr="class","omapponetabs3"]SUBJECT BIOGRAPHY
][attr="class","omapponebio"]
[attr="class","omapponebio1"]
A child of immigrants or as some might say, "colonists", Vernon was born in the Mexico City. While their family stood out among the locals, Roche was born with a partial albinism which made them stick out like a sore thumb. Not only were they paler and had lighter hair than the average person around them, they had heterochromia with one eye being blue and the other red. They got bullied for it, obviously, but not as much as one could expect. Nonetheless, they developed the wish to look like other kids and starter dyeing own hair darker to blend in. Looking back, they miss the dark-haired look, but can't put themself into actually going through the monthly trouble of doing it with the threat of awkward, light roots showing very shortly after. They never developed close ties with own family, rather the contrary and to this day are happy to be born an albino, because it makes them look less like own relatives whom they keep no love for.[break][break]
Eventually they moved to United States using own language fluency they developed living in a mixed society to an advantage. They would work part time helping a HR office near the border with hiring people who didn't speak English too well and spent the rest of the time studying. With the rather negative view of people around them on immigration, they decided to pursue law to ensure own safety. Survival of the fittest it is - even though they experienced no immediate aggression due to own appearance being unlike this of other immigrant, also, probably the name. At first they would focus on cases of emigrants who didn't put too much attention to how legal the move was, but then it struck them - they were bored by the whole ordeal and why should they keep doing it? Just because of shared history? And so they moved to Seattle with the only thought being "the further the better".[break][break]
As there were few immigration cases in this city, they could not pursue the old specialization even if they wished to. Disinterested in helping clients from broken marriages, they pursued crime starting from defending and prosecuting small fish. I guess they were cut for this line of work, because they climbed up the hierarchy fast and were able to work with more complicated, but also better paying cases. Defending someone obviously guilty, but well paying was a moral hardship. On one hand, money, on the other - if not them, someone else will take it anyway. They started therapy but it wasn't helping much. Sometimes it felt like they were own therapist, just paying someone to nod. They left it at that, seeing no progress. And then they got an offer they could not turn down. With own experience and a handful languages, they got a proposition to work for FBI. At first they were just a consultant, but proving themself to be efficient, they first became a special agent and then got a squad of their own. Vernon is still working as a lawyer which provides a good diversion for those who would seek the true identity of people pulling the strings. Sometimes they even take a step further and take a job as the lawyer of someone they pursue as a criminal, which isn't as smart as it can seem, because if they were too obvious with seeking no good outcome for own client, they would lose own reputation or perhaps even life. But what would be the life without its thrills?
