Overflowing with unjustified confidence and boasting an ego many times the size of her stature, she tends to catch most people off guard. Her life is the repetition of a bet that if she can sound tough enough, the bluff will succeed, and she'll be able to fight off her foes with words alone. Unsurprisingly, this tactic fails more than half the time, but this aggressive lady knows how to execute her plan B, which is to punch and kick until there is an opening to escape with or a chance to overpower her opponent through her own raw strength. [break][break]
However she doesn't go out of her way to get into fights, and prefers to get her way through diplomacy if at all possible. She has fair negotiation skills, and enough resources to gather blackmail for her victim if needed. When diplomacy would fail and dominance is required, Aister knows how to utilize intimidation tactics using a restrained amount of brute force. She isn't afraid to drop some crass words, but she definitely does not have a sailer mouth, and prefers to save words for when they will be most effective in use.[break][break]
She is someone who acts big, yet ironically believes her own life is worthless enough to throw away should her time ever come, and all options of survival are unlikely, having a rather apathetic attitude about her own life overall. But she does not believe her life is meaningless. She is incredibly opportunistic, and grabs every chance offered to her to make the most of the present, to have "fun" and make a difference whether it be for the good of others or just for her own entertainment.[break][break]
Under no circumstances will she ever willingly be told that she is a "good person" or some sort of kind, selfless hero, and she seems especially self conscious about being seen as anything like a motherly character who looks out for others' well being when she is performing acts of just that sort: nagging at her allies to hydrate and eat enough food with a tone of voice that says "Just so you know, it's not like I care about you guys. It'd just be pathetic if you all collapsed out there." She performs her job of replenishing weaponry stocks for the revolution more willingly than the average rebel, yet seems to have taken it upon herself as a personal obligation to also steal resources such as bottled water and snacks for the... performance values of her comrades. Okay we'll stop beating around the bush. She's an aggressively tsundere mom-friend. Just don't tell her I told you that![break][break]
It is notable that amidst her character which is a mixture of introvert and extrovert, she seems to enjoy fashion to a degree. Aister is normally seen wearing an all black military-like uniform or trench coat, depending on the weather, with the occasional red scarf. She usually wears a pair of white gloves which contrast the rest of her attire, and a silk black cap with a mysterious gold design on its front side. Despite her preference for male attire, Aister is not afraid to flaunt her feminine physique proudly, believing that she, an individual who means business and just so happens to be a fairly good looking young lady, can wear whatever the heck she thinks looks good just for herself and no one else. After all, she is not interested in attracting the attention of others, at least men that is, non-platonically.[break][break]
All her life, she's held a love for music, especially rock and roll, heavy metal, and also alternative rock style. While off-duty, she likes to wear her headphones and get lost in her music during slow days at her part time job working retail for a local music store. When she has nothing better to do, sometimes she may spend some time practicing on her own personal guitar, which she's too bashful to show to other people. She quite enjoys the task of tuning stringed instruments around the shop and for customers.

never met her father even once. she heard that he had abandoned her mother when he found that she was bearing his child. she grew up in a strained household, her only family member reluctant to acknowledge her existence, as if blaming her for her lover leaving. this was normal, she'd always assumed. this was acceptable, she'd grown up believing. people just don't need each other; they shouldn't rely on each other. there was no reason to keep living, but no reason to die either.[break][break]
she quit school earlier than someone her age was allowed to due to failing grades, tuition expenses, her inability to get along with the other kids her age, and her stressful home life. it wasn't that she was dumb by any means, but that she just had not the patience or motivation to focus on book smarts when she instinctively sought after street smarts in order to protect herself from the world around her. in her mind, she had been struggling to survive on her own for a while now. her mother no longer paid any heed to her tuition or well-being. The home she grew up in was no longer home to her.[break][break]
after a huge legal fiasco featuring word "truancy", she watched unfeeling as her mother, unable to pay the fines, was sentenced to a number of years behind bars that she did not care to remember. at least the forced education system afterwards for the homeless, parent-less "failures" like herself weren't the worst thing she was expecting. As soon as the first legal opportunity presented itself for her to be treated something like an independent person, she was thrown out onto the streets at the age of seventeen to begin fending for herself for real.[break][break]

aister adapted rather quickly to living on her own, enough that she even surprised herself. being her own adult wasn't so bad at all; in fact, her over-preparedness for this fate allowed her to learn the necessary skills remaining that she had left to learn, and she enjoyed her life for once. she diligently took on a couple part time jobs, and even managed to find herself a small apartment of her own to take shelter in. she even managed to make a few friendly acquaintances with those she encountered on a daily basis, becoming more sociable than she'd ever imagined she'd be when she was younger.[break][break]
all the while, she was just existing, but yet even without a reason to exist, it was better than not existing. to her, it was as simple a philosophy as choosing to play a fun MMO game, or to not and just sit there doing nothing forever. the obvious answer was to participate in the opportunities in front of her if only on the slightest chance that it could bring her some amusement. It's not like she was ever going to be allowed by this system to advance upwards in the world during her lifetime anyway.[break][break]
"They say there are rumors going around about a revolutionist group. Here, in Seattle."[break][break]
"What, are conspiracy theories the best this town can think of when it has nothing better to talk about?" Aister loudly sipped her coffee through a straw, a disbelieving sneer narrowing her dark eyes as she retorted to the barista working at the local cafe today.[break][break]
Ignoring his customer's obvious sarcasm and disinterest, the bartender went on anyway as if he had no choice but to fulfill his role as a gossiping NPC at a bar in a fantasy RPG.[break]"Perhaps more than just theories. It seems that from within this city, for only the right kind of people to join its cause, a revolution is calling."[break][break]
"Pfhahaha! How stupid. There's nothing to rebel against." Aister sipped her coffee again. What could a revolution possibly hope to accomplish anyway? Sure, this society, this system of government, all of it was utter trash. Justice is a lie. But that was just a fact of life that everyone had to learn to accept, right? Righteousness is a lie. Anyone who idealized defying this way of life was doomed to misery. But that shouldn't be acceptable. It's not - h-huh?
