(𝄞) While involved in a career that requires business aspects and tactics itself, Shin Young despises direct and overbearing business interactions, and this is due to his parents. Having been forced to dabble within business - even after finding that it genuinely hadn't been his calling - in the past, he prefers to stay away from it; partial due to his own bias, and partially due to the amounts of corruption that commonly run deep within it.[break][break]
(𝄞) While most would never be able to tell without being trusted enough to have been directly told beforehand, Shin Young has an achingly low sense of self esteem and self worth beneath his confident and approachable front. For a while, he had little choice other than following through with his parents' biddings and plans in the business field, and throughout the time that he kept close to their forms of guidance, they also bestowed various thoughts within his mind; ranging from consequences of failure, consequences of letting others down, and other factors of the sort. As such, he's grown to be exceedingly independent, and has become capable of fending for himself- but on the other side of that, he will almost always refuse to take aid from others when it comes to more serious matters. This truth of lacking confidence in himself is also amplified by his unlucky streak when it comes to relationships, and this has also led him to overthink his self worth even more; planting the belief that he's not good enough for most, no matter how hard he tries.[break][break]
(𝄞) Shin Young takes his composition career rather seriously, and has several songs and mentions of his own to prove as such. Music is as vital as food, air, and water for him; so much that he tends to grow anxious in distinct silence, as well as when he finds himself unable to listen to his music, or even be around others' melodies in general. He finds comfort in rhythm and melodious tunes, and - as such - often has an earbud in one ear, while the remainder is continuously free in order to properly observe and acknowledge his surroundings.[break][break]
(𝄞) In the past, he had taken it upon himself to see a therapist in order to deal with whatever burdens that he had been ailed by- though the visits in themselves had lasted for a short time, and had sooner brought him to the conclusion that he dislikes therapists; not quite the people themselves, per say, but rather, what they do for a living, despite the fact that their own career paths are meant to lend aid to others. Therapy sessions require a client to be somewhat open about their thoughts and feelings; something that Shin Young himself is extremely against due to his overly independent tendencies. In his mind, leaning on anyone - even professionals - for emotional aid is a sense of weakness and vulnerability- and those two qualities are the last things that he wishes to be for multiple reasons brought upon him by himself, as well as the way his parents raised him. Weakness and vulnerability equate to liabilities in his mindset- and liabilities equate to worthlessness and burdens.[break][break]
(𝄞) While he doesn't quite openly pride himself with his physicality, Shin Young has a rather well built and toned body at six foot even, and at one hundred and ninety-four pounds on average as a result of various activities that he started within the past, and still keeps up with to this day; ranging from rock climbing, marathoning, martial arts, and dancing, among other activities, as well. Martial arts and dancing tend to be the most common forms of physical activity that he keeps up with in order to keep himself occupied, and to convince himself that he remains continuously productive; with the latter of the two being one of the hobbies and activities that he indulges more within throughout his work with an entertainment company by the name of Arcanum Entertainment. Primarily, he works as a musician and a composer, though has been known to lend his aid in choreographies whenever needed, as well.[break][break]
(𝄞) He has a thing for animals, and it's apparent through his pet count. He has five pets in total; two dogs, and three cats. The two dogs are a Siberian husky and a pomsky - each named Tsuki and Kai, respectively - while the three cats are a Maine coon, a Norwegian forest cat, and an orange-furred tabby kitten; each named Jin, Lu, and Kohaku, respectively.[break][break]
(𝄞) He lives in a duplex house, and makes the lower floor his own domain. In the past, he used the second story to house guests and friends whenever they visited, but as of now, he lives with DAIYU ZHANG and lets her use the upper floor as she sees fit. As far as layout goes, the two floors are more or less identical, and each house an outdoor terrace yard/balcony on the first and second floors, respectively. He's chosen to decorate his own terrace with a small garden and a pond, and often goes outside to relax every so often when he needs an extra breath of fresh air.[break][break]
