Hideki seems poised like a cat on a bookshelf, paw poised to knock over the next glass, but giving you a look in the eyes as he does it. Elegant, a smirk or some other knowing look on his face, he’s the kind of person that seems to find something humorous in anything. He’s unconventional and offbeat, always thinking outside the box first and then narrowing it down to some mundane task. Always finding some whacky scheme or saying something so off putting that it stops people for a moment. One would think he finds enjoyment, but, he doesn’t.
[break][break]
He knows he’s not the smartest person in the room but he’s confident to know he’s one of the smartest. Analytical, he favors logical and deductive reasoning despite his offbeat and colorful comments. Words are words and puzzles are puzzles, but he’s always playing around with his toys. He knows that he’s a systematic person, but he prefers his individualism and prides himself on being edgy and being revolutionary. That being said, he’s not one to join in on a revolution, just watch it for pure entertainment. He’s a non-conformist and peculiar but creative and artistic.
[break][break]
His identity is very strong – which is why he works for the cops he’s not big on always endorsing all their policies. Independent and likes to form his own opinions he’s constantly questioning because to have faith one knows it must be questioning at most turns. However, despite his confidence, his identity, and his pride of a ‘unique’ personality, he finds himself bored with most turns of events and feels too lazy to join in and change things. His empathy is shockingly low, and his interpersonal skills need some definite work.
[break][break]
However, he has a method to all his madness, and he is an organized being. He loves seeing the world skitter like mice but sees no reason to raise a paw. He loves seeing people fall apart but he doesn’t take part in alcohol or going out of his way to spite those. He’s always in the shadows, a smart comment here or there, but he’s not one to step out of line visibly. He feels no need to interact or play with others nicely because in the end they’ll leave and their bonds are worthless.
[break][break]
They do dumb things without his help anyways. He finds his loyalty hard to gain but easy to keep – and he finds that his love of code and binary options of yes or no are much more forthright than people. He loves animals and codes more than he does other human beings and if often shows. It’s hard to pin him down but it’s also easy to put him somewhere and expect him to stay. He’s got the mind of a egomaniac with the drive of a sloth.

[attr="class","omapponetabs3"]SUBJECT BIOGRAPHY
][attr="class","omapponebio"]
[attr="class","omapponebio1"]
It was hard to pin down the exact reason Hideki was born. Carelessness? His mother had her career in front of her and so did his father – they didn’t want a child. Hope to keep the relationship together? There wasn’t really a relationship to begin with. Accident? Well his parents weren’t the type to make accidents. Hideki was born either way and that day for his parents was a grand mistake.
[break][break]
Red-brown eyes opened up early on – reaching and crying for anything for hours at a time. However, no faces came – hours were spent alone, always told he was going to cry it out. His parents, however, took this a bit too literally and early, giving Hideki a shocking disconnect in the future of attaching faces with emotions. His childhood was ordinary beyond that – he went to school, he sat down at the empty table with cold food and a sleeping nanny.
[break][break]
Eventually, the boy went through higher ranks of school, the nanny was dismissed, and his mother was either elbow deep in the guts of someone as a head surgeon or his father was some mess with the government. He found solace in the computers that would break down, making friends online with fake emojis and found a language he could truly understand. No emotions, no complicated this or that, just simply easy conversations he found he could practice.
[break][break]
Was it common for his parents to suddenly seek his success when he was older? When he could married off or in the spotlight more, he wasn’t sure but he found himself thrown into dual enrollment, his father called in favors and he was in the police department more and more. Around criminals he played cards with despite the officer’s warnings or underneath some desk fixing the usb cable for the 15th time that week. He was part of it, always part of it, they smiled at him, treated him like family – but he didn’t care much for anyone there. It was always a distant feeling watching the families pick up the criminals or their blue uniforms huddling together.
[break][break]
He became interested in computer forensics a long time ago – finding evidence on computers fun and easy to do. Why not? Computer forensics were never something that were ever too hard or complicated – not like Seattle was a hotbed of coders somewhere, so he settled into his niche. It was easy, it wasn’t too hard and he got all kinds of fun gossip on cases and criminals without ever getting up from his chair. Now he’s curious because he hears rumblings of things – cryptids, people crying for revolutions, and his favorite, the local cat fancy club and he has a death bingo match with five old biddies he’s going to win or outlive them.
