milo didn't need to spend anymore than a night in his childhood home to know that it wasn't going to work out, or at least with him keeping his sanity. so as any other millennial would do, milo jumped onto the internet to find somewhere to be. anywhere. well, maybe not anywhere. he had a price limit and some kind of standards, plus they had to be cool with animals. dogs. his dogs. it was after some back and forth emails, which was pretty lucky on milo's part given how quickly this stranger got back to him. maybe they were desperate enou- actually, they had to have been desperate to accept a lunch invite immediately.
which is how milo found himself at the NM 156 cafe. it was... cute? regardless, a public place was necessary because meeting an internet stranger for the first time can be an experience. one can never be too cautious. he sipped on his chai tea (dirty, extra froth) as he waited. milo had said in his email to look for the guy with silver hair and a thick sweater with the likeness of the three headed dog, cerberus, embedded into the front. surely that was specific enough? all that was left to do was wait and see.
