Zero dislikes people in general. Be it because of the stuff he has gone through in his past, or the fact that half the time he sees most people as stupid, he finds little need to speak with anyone. All people did was spew lies and false hopes; they leave people with empty promises. Zero uses sarcasm to mask most of his emotions, and probably lashes out more than he really should.
[break][break]
As rude as he can be, Zero can be a pretty alright person to be around once someone gets to know him a bit. He is a truly loyal friend, and if he really cares about someone he will look out for them 100%. Working at a bookstore, sometimes he will try to put on a fake smile, but most people can see through his facade.
[break][break]
Most recently, Zero has been trying to get better with being sorta social with people, but that guard he always has up isn't an easy thing for him to get rid of. It is a work in progress that's for sure.

MISCELLANEOUS INFO
[attr="class","omapponemisc4"]
At first glance, Zero looks like a simple attractive male (though he will deny this almost all the time). Nothing too special, and luckily he actually looks his age for once in his life, even though his height is still a sight for sore eyes. Standing at 5'3" at the age of 23 isn't exactly something he is proud of. Curse his mother's genes. His dark hair can most of the time be a mess on his head, but whenever he decides to get down to it, he will sport a stylish undercut. The eyes on this one are actually quite intriguing. Some people will claim they are a fire red in the sunlight, but they are more of a rose-gold. There is not much explanation for this either, as both of his parents have hazel eyes, and he isn't anything close to being a vampire. Luckily enough, if someone really gets freaked by them, Zero will tell people in he most unamused voice that they are contacts. Problem solved.
[break][break]
Resting on his nose, most of the time, were a pair of glasses. Unfortunately for the small male, his eye sight was not the best. Zero isn't all too keen on wearing them, but they are always kept clean and unscratched. The clothing choice is simple; dark jeans, rips at the knees, paired with a crew neck shirt and hoodie. Majority of his clothes share the same look, including his only pair of shoes: very worn red converse. Zero has a single tattered leather jacket that is like a prized possession to him. He would murder a hoe if something tried to steal it.
[break][break]
Over the last few years, Zero has acquired a fair few tattoos. One that is noticeable is the feather on his neck, a representation of a fallen bird, the angel that left him long ago. On his right forearm, just above the bend of his elbow, a broken hour glass. To him, time is meaningless, as it can shatter at anytime. Who knows when something will stop him from continuing his life? One day he wants to get a full sleeve of tattoos on his arm.
[break][break]
Studying certain aspects, one will notice the scarring that covers the right half of his face. An encounter with a vicious dog left him broken and permanently scarred. The scarring on the right side starts from the bottom of his chin to just below his ear, another over the corner of his lips, and a third from the base of his nose to below his eye. His left hand is another disaster from the dog attack. The dog had managed to break the bones and rip apart his hand to the point where it could not be saved. Not wanting to live with having no hand, Zero used majority of the money he had to get someone to build him a working metallic prosthetic hand. The cool thing about it, is that it is fully functioning, each individual finger able to move on it's own. It is still a difficult thing to deal with, as mechanical things just simply don't always work 24/7.[break][break]

[attr="class","omapponetabs3"]SUBJECT BIOGRAPHY
][attr="class","omapponebio"]
[attr="class","omapponebio1"]
Zero's history is mostly a broken life. His parents never really wanted to have a child, but also didn't believe in abortion. So, they were stuck with a kid that they hated. At first, things seemed simple enough for the small child, but once he hit school age, he began to notice how his father always looked at him. Zero was always scrawny and not the healthiest of kids; his eating habits stemmed from a young age. Food was always wasted with the kid, as he always forgot he had food in his bag. A hated trip to the doctor proved pointless. Nobody knew why the kid never felt hungry.
[break][break]
Nobody noticed the bruises that started to form on his small body. Stress played a small part on why he didn't eat. He did try his best, he wanted to impress his parents... but no matter what he did, they never truly loved him. Yet, a young girl seemed to be a guardian angel to him. The small boy never made mention of what went on at home; it wasn't like his dad hit him all the time, just when he was 'bad'. So that was fine right? This girl, who he came to know as Silver, was a smart one. She had a feeling that something wasn't right with this kid.
[break][break]
It wasn't until Zero was 10 that things really began to come to light with him. More hits, the bruising was showing on his exposed skin. Teachers turned a blind eye; Zero claimed he fell... a lot. Why would the kid lie? Silver knew better, she always did. No matter what she tried or said, the boy just gave her a smile and said everything was alright. She didn't need to get involved with what went on in his home. If there was one thing in his life he wanted to do, it was keep her safe.
[break][break]
Yet... he couldn't. Shortly before her 11th birthday in the spring, Silver was struck and killed by a drunk driver. The doctors said she most likely felt no pain, but Zero didn't believe them. He'd witnessed her frail body being hit by that car, he'd seen how her neck had broken. His 10 year old eyes could barely move away from the scene that stained the cement. Never in his life had he seen so much blood.
[break][break]
Like the asshole he was, his father told Zero it was punishment for becoming her friend. God had decided that she didn't deserve to be seen with such a disgrace such as himself. What a wonderful thing to tell a child, right? It started then, Zero's hatred for people. Everyone was so sorry, they wanted to help him-but those were lies. Why would anyone help him? They just wanted to be a part of his sob story, the boy who saw someone die. Fuck them.
[break][break]
When he was 16, Zero left home. It wasn't really his choice, but if he was going to live to see another day, he had to go. When he had come home from the hell he called school, his father was drunk and on a rampage. He and Zero got into an argument, which led to the older man attempting to murder his son. After slashing at Zero's body with a kitchen knife, he left the boy bleeding in his room, ready to call the cops and claim someone had killed him. Luckily, Zero managed to escape out of the bedroom window. How he got to a hospital, he wasn't sure, but the scar that remained afterwards was going to be a constant reminder.
