MISCELLANEOUS INFO

Warren stands tall, his posture always immaculate and shoulders kept back. He's hardly a giant, reaching 5'11", but at times it feels as if his presence could take over an entire room simply by the way he holds himself. Oftentimes he can be caught wearing an expression of patience and understanding, and his lips curl naturally with a gentle smile, one that crinkles at the corners of his eyes and shines brightly in their blue depths. His naturally blond hair is kept short for ease, but at times it can get long enough that it starts to droop over his forehead and ears, giving him a softer, more relaxed appearance.

[attr="class","omapponetabs3"]SUBJECT BIOGRAPHY
][attr="class","omapponebio"]
[attr="class","omapponebio1"]
Warren was born into a fairly wealthy family in the expanses of Kentucky's rolling green hills. They were horse people, big on breeding and even bigger on races. It felt a bit stereotypical, to be a well-off individual with a bloodline of reins and stirrups to back him up. He'd never really taken to the sport, though there had never come a time during his adolescent days when he'd mentioned as much. To his parents he'd been ready to carry the torch, so to speak, after they were no longer able to run the business. Between school and extracurricular activities, he was always out in the stables, helping to train, to clean, to watch and observe and learn every secret of the trade. To this day he could tell you how to hold your weight, how to flick the switch, to get a horse to run its fastest.
[break][break]
He'd spent his time enjoying the animals more than anything else. Horses were incredibly smart, and he felt a closer emotional connection to them than he did any members of his family; those being his parents, his grandparents, and the one aunt who hung around with the smell of bourbon always strong on her breath. Siblings had never been a possibility for him. His mother had been content with having one child only, and his father even more so, given he was a boy and a boy was all they needed to keep the family tree going strong. Unfortunately for them Warren had never intended to live the typical life of obtaining a wife and being the perfect equine connoisseur. He'd liked other boys since he'd been old enough to write his own name, and nothing, not even their heavily set religious ways, could change that.
[break][break]
When he'd graduated high school he'd told them the truth. Not that... he was gay. He knew he would likely never speak to any of them ever again if he chose to take that leap, and at the time he wasn't quite ready to make the commitment. No, he'd told them he wasn't going into the horse business. He was going to school to become a nurse. Helping people had been a dream of his for too long for him to ignore it any longer, and now that the opportunity was finally presenting itself he wasn't about to let it pass him by. That had been almost as bad as letting them know he preferred men, but in the end they were still willing to share curt words with him, so he considered it at least something of a win. There were worse fates, after all.
[break][break]
He'd jumped into college right away, eager to start his journey into the world of medicine, and was thrilled the entire way through. Some parts were more difficult than others (far, far more difficult), but in the end he'd passed his final exam with flying colors and was given the green light to truly start living his life the way he'd always wanted. His parents had grown more and more distant over the course of the few years it took him to work through everything, and by his twenty-second birthday he was suspecting the worst. Maybe they'd pieced it all together. Maybe he hadn't been playing it off as well as he'd thought.
[break][break]
It turned out he'd been right in his concerns. They had asked him to come back home for a weekend, to clean up some things he'd left behind and have some time together once more. That in itself was suspicious, and his arrival had been met with flushed cheeks and tense jaws. The confirmation of his tastes was not taken lightly. Warren left the same night he'd arrived, eyes bloodshot and watery but the tears never to fall. He was better than that. Better than them. Stronger. Just because he was different did not mean he was in the wrong. He was loved the same, no matter what they said to him. Hell wasn't waiting. It wasn't. And even if it was... it wasn't for them to say. It was as simple as that.
[break][break]
Warren packed up his things and decided a fresh start would be best. He'd stopped in different cities along the way, but Seattle captured his heart, and it's where he's remained since. To say he's much happier now, being himself, the way he was meant to exist, would be quite the understatement.
