about:

Mute by accident, petite by nature, and about to turn thirty because time is an unforgiving mistress, Faith is a walking proof that somebody can have their life completely together while being on a verge of imploding. Not even a year ago she was still a resolute scholarship gainer and a shiny new drop of blood in the SPD's lab, but then something blew up in her face. Pretty literally, since it was a homemade nail bomb which was meant to wreck havoc in the middle of the city, but ended up being mostly contained by a well placed police truck. Sadly, faith was standing a bit too far to the right and got caught up in the explosion, soon being rushed off to the hospital. When she left it she was a few scars richer and a voice poorer. Now she's a part of the Unit 32 and proudly bears the title of the office's bad luck charm. All the while quietly looking for the person who planted that feral bomb.[break][break][break]

personality:

Faith is a ticking timebomb of damage kept more or less secure in a nice little box of confidence and self-awareness. At the first glance she's responsible, intelligent woman, who went through some bad times and got out victorious. She's confident, meticulous, sharp, and ambitious, capable of taking her own rains and doing what she has to - whatever it might be - to be on top. After scratching the top layers of paint there is a bit of an unruly streak - she listens to rather aggressive music, holds a grudge for years, spent fifteen years learning how to defend herself and attack others. She's a spiky one, and while usually she doesn't show it, she can be provoked to show that part of her. But what's coiling under all that control and tension are years of issues stemming from a complicated life in a torn home, bottled up trauma which came from her accident, and more than a few intrusive thoughts that keep her up at night.

All kinds of friends, especially the ones who work for the police. Faith has moved to Seattle only because she got a job here, and has been focusing mostly on her career and earning both the respect and the sympathy of people she shared the station with. She's a part of the Unit 32 now, and it would be fun if she had friends both from the rag-tag-bag, and those who know her back when she was still an outspoken young lady.[break][break][break]

looking for:

Anything and nothing, really! Faith can be flirtatious and she's not opposed to the idea of being in a relationship, but on the other hand she has grown used to her romantic history being paved with pieces of romances that didn't survive the blow that was her complete asexuality. She's still trying to avoid the future of the lonely old cat lady, and tends to flirt with both genders equally, looking for a positive response. [break][break][break]

Most notably the person who has created the nail bomb Faith waltzed into. She has been looking for the culprit ever since she was released from the hospital and allowed to return to work, but her investigation has been fairly slow, since she has been doing her best to keep it a secret and doesn't have the official access to much information.
