Urban legends poke their mysterious little heads up from every corner of the globe: from New Jersey's back woods Devil to mysterious lights above Okoboji in the middle of nowhere. While the majority of the populace tends to take these stories of strange, supernatural creatures and sightings with a grain of salt, there are always outliers who believe there is more to be seen out there than blurry photographs and live accounts of drunkards. Seattle, in fact, houses a very notorious group of self proclaimed “truth seekers” dedicated to exposing fraudulent legends for what they are... but more importantly, finding and sharing proof of the legends that may not be quite so fraudulent.

The Mind's Eye are a group of cryptid hunters who dedicate their time and efforts to the finding or busting of various local and global – as the name would imply – cryptids. While members of the organization may be scattered across the country, and even some foreign lands beyond through the help of the Internet, the majority of its members congregate in Seattle where its base of operations began and resides. A decade worth of blood, sweat, and tears may have offered little in the way of progress, but they're quite well-known in the community (for better or worse), and regarded quite highly by individuals and other groups who hope to achieve similar ends far and wide. The original leader has long since stepped down, but management has passed onto no single individual. Instead, all members, regardless of experience are considered equal. Most are left to their own devices, to hunt and research as they so desire and on their own time; for larger “operations” where larger numbers are required, decisions are made via unanimous vote.

People of all walks of life are accepted whole-heartedly into the group, regardless of age, passion, or supposed “usefulness”. So long as you have a love for all things mysterious, you're more than welcome through their doors!
